Hello all,
Ive recently spun up a zabbix server and everything is going great. Too good in fact. We are getting a lot of 'service not running' alerts.
I really dont care if these services are running. Here is an example alert:
Problem started at 17:17:39 on 2017.09.22
Problem name: Service "gpsvc" (Group Policy Client) is not running (startup type automatic)
Host: Host1
Severity: Average
There are only two templates on this host "Template OS Windows" & "Template Module ICMP Ping"
Ive looked through both of these templates and I cannot see where these services are being called. Its not just gpsvc. Theres a whole slew of processes that are alerting.
I know that the severity is average, and adjusting the alert type can prevent these messages from being sent. Now Im interested in figuring out where/what in the template setup is checking for these services.
Thanks in advance.
