Hi ,

I am a new user please help me in monitoring few resource monitoring in all linux and windows server.


->I am not getting all the partitions in linux machine
->How to monitor the cpu utilization in %
->How to monitor a TCP & UDP port
->How to monitor http urls

Please help me in fixing this

I have installed the zabbix agent in all machines and I am using zabbix 3.4.1 version

Please try to see what values can be obtained with the default templates.

Template for Linux with Zabbix agent : 'Template OS Linux'
Template for Windows with Zabbix agent : 'Template OS Windows'

Several monitoring settings are introduced in the manual, so check the contents.

And, 3.4.1 has many problems, I recommend 3.4.2.

Thanks for your response .

The link which you have given is all about web monitoring but my concerns are (how to trigger an alarm if a server goes down and all the partitions are not getting displayed and how to monitor the port).

Please help me in finding a solution for these

Please try using the template introduced first.
It automatically searches and monitors mounted disks.
First of all, please see the setting and understand.

It is the first step to see and understand items and triggers that are set.

1. I am not getting all the partitions in linux machine

You are using the default template? You can perform

zabbix_get -s <IP or hostname> -k vfs.fs.discovery

and you will receive the JSON output similar to what zabbix server receives. Then check out the filter are used to filter the partitions.

Hi ,

Please find the attached screenshot I have added the template 1st and tried all ways which didn't work

I do not know what is happening just by saying that "didn't work".

What kind of server are you monitoring?
RHEL? CentOS? Ubuntu? and what version?
Did you install the Zabbix agent?
Have you set up the Firewall so that it can communicate with the Zabbix server?
What is the display of the monitored host on the web frontend?
Is something output to the Zabbix server or Zabbix agent log?
