I am interested in creating multiple host down alerts based on duration. Currently I have one trigger set to 5 minutes of no ping response and another set to 15. I have the 5 minute trigger set to "depend on" the 15 minute trigger. The resolution expression is set to 5 minutes of being up for both. The funkyness I would like to remove is the multiple alerts on the trigger resolution.
Current Process (example):
0000 - Host goes down
0005 - [ALERT] 5 minutes down
0015 - [ALERT] 15 minutes down
0020 - Host comes back up
0025 - Resolved: [ALERT] 5 minutes down
0025 - Resolved: [ALERT] 15 minutes down
I would like to remove that second resolved alert. Thanks in advance!
