    Original EventID in Remote Command

    Hi there,

if I create an action and choose under "Recovery operations" the operation Type "Send recovery message" the macro {EventID} returns the original EventID of the causing event in the email.

Is there a way to get this value also for the operation Type "Remote Command"? If I use {EventID} there, it uses the ID of the solving event, and not the original one...

    Cheers,
    Lemi

Which zabbix version are you using ?

in zabbix 3.2 i can see following macros

EVENT.ID} Numeric ID of the event that triggered an action.
{EVENT.RECOVERY.ID} Numeric ID of the recovery event.
Can be used in recovery messages only. Supported since 2.2.0.

may be those can be used ?

      regards,
      Kaspars

        Hi,

this value is what I'm searching for. But as writen in the documentation: "Can be used in recovery messages only", it only works when I'm sending a message. It doesn't get evaluated when I use it in "Remote Command" - it just stays {EVENT.RECOVERY.ID}.

        Regards,
