Hi guys, I am new to zabbix and linux and got asked to setup zabbix.
I got zabbix installed on an AWS EC2 behind a AWS ELB.
I enabled port forwarding for the load balancer on port 10050 and also set firewall settings accordingly so TCP over 10050 can go in and out.
Whe connecting Agent to the EC2 behind the Load Balancer everything works fine, when I give load balancer URL as target in the Agent config I get the following message:
Received empty response from Zabbix Agent at [www.xxx.yyy.zzz]. Assuming that agent dropped connection because of access permissions
Any advice where I should start checking? I saw this got discussed some time but I think since I can talk to the server most solutions will not apply. Seems like the laod balancer is an issue here...anyone got experience?
