Hi, I want to create an action to send an email asap after a new value is received for item. What kind of trigger function is best used in this case?

You can use the .last() function
last (sec|#num,<time_shift>)
The most recent value.

thanks but this dont work, now i have item which collect one id event from windows log and triger fire only for first value
1. 10:02:13 event id 1111 = triger fire (status Problem) - send email
2. 10:32:12 event id 1111 = triger dont fire (status problem) - email dont send
Settings:
ITEM: eventlog[Security,,,,4740,,]
Triger: {DC-OST:eventlog[Security,,,,4740,,].last()}
Action:
Maintenance status not in maintenance
Trigger = SERVERNAME: lockout
Host = SERVERNAME
Is there any possibility, to configure email notification allways when item collect new data?Comment
