Auto disabling a service monitoring by mask

    Zabbix 3.4
I will add a few new Windows hosts soon. The template "OS Windows" automatically starts monitoring all windows services. I would like to exclude some services like "Host Sync*". How can I perform it if it is possible?

    Thank you!

    Hello Exonix,

Please consider to use Filters tab and Regular expression to filter out the Services you don't want to see in your items.

    Regards,
    Alex!

As I have right understood these variables in the Regular expression will be ignored?
      Code:
      ^(MMCSS|gupdate|SysmonLog|clr_optimization_v2.0.50727_32|clr_optimization_v4.0.30319_32)$
But how to add a variable with a mask?
For example if I add "Sync Host" then only "Sync Host" will not be monitored, "Syc Host_123456" still will be monitored by Zabbix.

        So try to use
        Code:
        Sync\WHost\w*
        btw, https://regex101.com

True or False - Depends on your own configuration

        Regards,
        Alex!

I added it, it showed FALSE, but today I got a new error related this service. It wasn't exclude.
