Run Web Scenario from server, not proxy?

Hi,

My host is monitored by zabbix through some Proxy, the problem is that when i setup web monitoring on that Host to check specific URL, then that check runs from Proxy, how may i set it up to run web scenario from Zabbix server instead?

ps. I'm running Zabbix 3.0 version.

Hi,

Since Zabbix 2.2 web scenarios are attached to hosts/templates in the same way as items, triggers, etc

You can try

- monitor the server from zabbix server, not from proxy
- make some second "dummy" host on zabbix server with web check only
- You can specify a HTTP proxy to use, using the format: http://[username[assword]@]proxy.mycompany.com[ort]
in this case web check will go from zabbix proxy to the http proxy, and from http proxy it will check your web site
