    Zabbix Port Monitoring

    Hi Team,

I have added almost 75 servers under monitoring in one of my new Zabbix monitoring tool & I am using 3.4.2 version which is the latest one.

One of my Application Team asked me to add a port monitoring under each server.

So any one can please help me in how to add a port monitoring under a server.

There are 5 per each server which i ma studying block for the fix but till now didn't find anything matching my requirement.

    Hi vnoc!

    Create item:
    Type: Simple check
    use key: net.tcp.service[tcp,<ip>,<port>]

This is for TCP port monitoring.
    find out more here:

and if you need UDP ports, there are limitations but still use this key:
    net.udp.service[service,<ip>,<port>]

    Regards

        see no screenshot

Are you monitoring directly from zabbix server or using a proxy?
        Try telnet <IP> <PORT>
to those machines from zabbix console.
if you cannot connect, then that might be some firewall issues or network limitations.

I am directly adding it under a particular server and I am able to telnet the IP port from zabbix installed server.
