Hi All,

Please provide zabbix key or method to monitor services running in AIX & Linux?

We have it for windows, i.e. service.info[service,<param>
And looking for Aix & Linux key, please help

Hello Stahiya,

One way to do this is with

proc.num[<name>,<user>,<state>,<cmdline>]

name - process name (default is all processes)
user - user name (default is all users)
state - possible values:
all (default),
disk - uninterruptible sleep,
run - running,
sleep - interruptible sleep,
trace - stopped,
zomb - zombie
cmdline - filter by command line (it is a regular expression)

if the service is not running, number of processes = 0

Or you can check the service port to see if its listening...
