Host's Availability

Hello,
i have de problem on my host
i create an host on a server, his status are monitored but his Availability is unknown and the LATEST DATA are vaccum..
do you know this problem ?

what items are monitored on that hosts ?
is a template linked with that host ?

i have found the problem, it's Windows_t:Size of c:\msdos.sys item.
this item on my server windows make problem.. and an high utilisation of my cpu
i disabled this item and all run correctly !
