Monitor recording of channels

Hi

I have a windows server which records tv channels. New file is created each hour with this naming: LIVE_BBC_WORLDNEWS_yyyy_mm_dd_hh.trp
example:
LIVE_BBC_WORLDNEWS_2017_11_20_13.trp
LIVE_BBC_WORLDNEWS_2017_11_20_14.trp

I want to be notified if the recording fails ----- i.e. next hour, new file not created.

Any suggestions?

Just a few ideas

Possible fast workaround - use vfs.dir.size and check the difference, no new file created - no changes to directory size

Or use some custom windows powershell/batch/vbs/whatever script as UserParameter
