vfs.dev.{read,write}[sda8,operations]

version 1.1.4 on RHE 4
Found this handy key for disk operations. However I get not supported if the type is set to integer. If I change it to text it goes into active but I don't get any value. I ran it with zabbix_get and I got a 10 digit integer.

How can I make this active with integer? Or how can I use this key?

okay so the vfs.dev.read[sda8,operations] works on the command line but not configured into the items! I took the operations out and now its working! The manual says that it does support 2.6 kernel. So why is not working!

Now I have my doubts. What am I measuring without any type parameter?
