Is it possible to use the port under 1024?

Hi, I'm using Zabbix3.2.3. Can Zabbix use under 1024 port for interface? Because customer doesn't allow the port over 1024. Or if is there someone has the experience for the solution about this, please tell it.

Ports below 1000 are privelaged ports which require root permissions to open. Programs like apache thus must start as root but then shed their root permissions after the initial port operation. I can't recall if Zabbix does this, but the easiest way to check is to try.

Why is your customer wanting to go against 20+ years of standard practice? I've heard and seen customers do crazy things, but this is definately up there with insisting telnet must be used for PCI compliance (yes a customer once believed that).
