Total disk space on / [no data]

    Hello,

I just saw that my 'Disk usage' graphs are broken for each host I monitor.

But when I use following command on that host I get some data back:
    Code:
    root@ftp:~# zabbix_agentd -t vfs.fs.size[/,total]
    vfs.fs.size[/,total] [u|18736746496]
Also on the 'Latest data' page I see data coming to my server:
    Code:
    Total disk space on /	2018-01-11 22:04:43	17.45 GB

Any idea what the issue might be?

    Thanks in advance

    Same here

I have the same problem, must be a bug in the graph because it happens with all the servers.

Looks like in your templates total disk space is sampled with history period greater than 1h and this is why within last 1h window there is no data.

It's a default clean recent install

I have a default clean install(3.4) thats not even a week old.

Here are the items for file system for the Linux OS template, it seems they are ok:

So as long as you are using zabbix agent items (passive items) probably you have problems with saturated zabbix pollers processes on zabbix server or proxy (if this host is monitored over proxy).
If it is true you must start switching from passive monitoring to active one as passive monitoring does not scale causing gaps in monitoring data.
Passive monitoring does not scale ..

I only have 4 servers monitored in this installation as is a new one, and the hosts are not behind a proxy.

I don't think that it is the issue as you describe, it only happens with file system graphs, even on swap usage, all other graphs are displayed correctly. But just to be sure, how can I check if it is a saturation on Zabbix Server?

I've taken the time and have tested installing the latest 3.4 and 3.2 versions of Zabbix on the package repositories to see if it's a bug. Used both ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 and the result is that on Zabbix 3.4.6 the problen exists on both ubuntu versions. On Zabbix 3.2.11 the problem does not exist, pie charts are displayed correctly.

This is on a new fresh package installation of Zabbix only monitoring the Zabbix server and no other clients being monitored, all in virtualbox machines with the same hardware conditions.

After some more testing, I created a custom pie chart and have noticed that the problem is when you use "Graph sum" on an item inside a pie chart. Obviously if you select both to simple, the chart doesn't behave like it should but at least you can see that the data is there, the problem lies in the chart itself. Maybe a bug on the frontend.

Aaaa .. that is another case.

Try to change graph function type from "avg" to "all"

I don't think that's the case, the graphs are 100% the same as they are on Zabbix 3.2 in terms of what items they show, they are the default graphs for the Linux OS template.

Also there is no "all", there is min, max, avg, last.

After further testing the problem seems to be happening after Zabbix 3.4.5, If I install or upgrade past 3.4.4 the issue presents itself. I tested it by installing zabbix 3.4 which didn't have the problem and taking a snapshot of the VM and the upgrading first to 3.4.6 and reverting back to 3.4.0, 3.4.5 and reverting back to 3.4.0, in the upgrade to 3.4.4 the problem was gone.

For the time being I'm going to stay on 3.4.4, any way to report this to the development and maybe help with the testing on why it's happening?

                        Hi,
                        I have the same problem.
It does it for all clients (Windows, Linux).
But if I see the last data, the data is there. The error is in graphs only.
