Hello,

I've got a Zabbix 1.1 and a Zabbix 1.4 installation, but I can't find the "escalation-function". Can somebody help me or is it just not implemented?

I have several hostgroups with different administrators to be informed when a trigger in a hostgroup triggers. This works just fine, but now I need a workaround to inform every administrator if the admin who is responsible for his hostgroup doesn't react.

I thougt about something like an escalation time. If a problem persists longer than an hour, zabbix sends a mail to all administrators or the severity of the trigger rises, so I can create a new action which sends a mail to all when a severity reaches "disaster".

This feature actually existed in Zabbix 1.1Beta, but was pulled without explanation prior to Zabbix 1.1Release.

It is very likely that escalation will be introduced in 1.4.
