item key more than 64 characters

Hi,

I need to monitor with keys more than 64 characters, perf_counter[........] on windows machine.

I increased the item.key_ field in the db from 64 to 128 and restarted server and agents.

The key from ui is saved in db ok but the server logs tells me that is unsupported and shows the key cut (not as is in db - item.key_).

What can happen?

This is a known issue that Alexei has stated he will not fix. Having said that, however, I have posted a PATCH that addresses this issue.

It won't be fixed in 1.1.x because it requires a database patch. However the issue is already solved in 1.3.x (pre 1.4).
