    Help with non numeric indexes snmp LLD

    Hello,
    on zabbix 3.4
    I am trying to create a template to discover and create
    items from non numeric snmp indexes
    I starting from these examples:
    https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...very/snmp_oids

    my tree is:

    snmpwalk -v 1 -Cc -c community myserver RADWARE-MIB::rsWSDSerStatAttUsersNum

    produces an output like
    RADWARE-MIB::rsWSDSerStatAttUsersNum."farm1balancedservern ame-01" = INTEGER: 21093
    RADWARE-MIB::rsWSDSerStatAttUsersNum."farm1balancedservern ame-01" = INTEGER: 22628
    RADWARE-MIB::rsWSDSerStatAttUsersNum."farm2balancedservern ame-01" = INTEGER: 0
    RADWARE-MIB::rsWSDSerStatAttUsersNum."farm2balancedservern ame-02" = INTEGER: 0

    I was thiking to create a template with a discovery rule like

    key: RealServerName
    snmp oid: discovery[{#REALSERVERNAME},RADWARE-MIB::rsWSDSerStatAttUsersNum]

    then
    an item prototype with
    key: RealServerUserN
    SNMP OID: RADWARE-MIB::rsWSDSerStatAttUsersNum.{#REALSERVERNAME}

    but it does not work

    this https://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=45755
    was pointing to custom scripts but as I understand new zabbix version should support that out of the box.

    Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

    Many thanks
    Andrea
