    Automatic MySQL Backup Script (Ubuntu)

    Hi All,

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction on where to start with getting together a script that can be run automatically in Ubuntu and back up the Zabbix MySQL database?

I have had a look around but most of the information is pretty out of date, we are currently on version 3.2.6.

    Have you seen this? http://zabbixzone.com/zabbix/backuping-full-database/

We use Percona to backup Z. I can show you how we use Percona... Or environment is RHEL.

I backup the zabbix config more often than the collected data.
