Configuration Syncer Process

I have a zabbix server, that most processes are running below 3% except the Configuration Syncer Process. It runs at pretty much a constant 23%. I have 3 Proxies and currently 575 hosts and 247,000 items at 1147 NVPS. All of this is on fast hardware with screaming fast Database so I'm not sure if this is a normal thing?

Also which tuneable parameters affect this process?

What does the ConfigFrequency look like on the proxies? How often do your proxies retrieve configuration data from the Zabbix server? You not decking the config like every minute are you? We check every 10 minutes. Adjusting that value could change things a little, but I really think you are in decent shape. Our config syncer runs constantly at 12.5%. We run 7 proxies, 9860 hosts, 2453491 items, and 4245 nvps.

Yes every 60 seconds, I will adjust that and see. Also I have 4 proxies, and they are passive so aren't requesting config.
