Can wildcards be used? Is it possible to create a single action to notify me when any of my servers go down? I have fping working.

Can wildcards be used? Is it possible to create a single action to notify me when any of my servers go down? I have fping working.

For actions, you certainly can, however, triggers require a trigger for each item that you wish to alarm on, so you will need to create a trigger for each host that you are pinging, though this is childs play if you are using templates.
