web traffic statistics

Hallo,

I have few questions.

1. In eth0 output or input statistics i see values in bites, can I change it so kb or mb?
2. In that same statistics i see total of bites downloaded or uploaded, is there possibility to see usage of bandwitch?

I see a couple of issues from that picture because I ran into the same thing. When setting up the item you will need to change a couple of things. First change the Units to Bps. It will automatically change to Kbps or Mbps as needed.

The second change should be the Store Value. Instead of As Is, change it to Delta (speed per second). After that you should get some accurate values.

just a note: the interfacecounters are byte-counter
so you have K|MByte/s ..

if you want to monitor K|Mbit/s, you have to use the multiplier and set it to 8 ...
