Two little questions about create a new item

Hello,

I have two littles questions.

1. On zabbix I have a template like this :

Free disk space on /
Sendmail status
Processor Load
MySQL status
...

3 hosts herit of this template but one of this dont have MySQL installed. MySQL Trigger on this host is however raised. Why this item is not set as "not supported" ? Is this possible to reset his state ?

2. Where I can find color legend used on the overview screen ?

i had same problem, and decided, to make a template for every service,
and for our hostgroups i made a template consisting of the templates with the services the group runs ...

all other hosts inherit from service-templates directly

Why this item is not set as "not supported"?

This really depends on how you have the item configured. If you are using the UserParam method, then you will never get a "ZBX NOTSUPPORTED" as the UserParam method as described in the zabbix_agent(d).conf files does not know how to return it. The best way to do this is to write your own script that checks for MySQL, then call it with a UserParam or a system.run. If the script can't find MySQL, have it return "ZBX NOTSUPPORTED".

2. Where I can find color legend used on the overview screen ?

Actually there isn't one. From what I have seen, Red means the trigger is set, Green means the trigger is clear, Grey means the server doesn't know the state yet, and White means that the trigger is not active for that host.
