zabbix, server load --> false reports

When i started doing mysql backups daily, at the moment of backuping (high server load) zabbix reports about all the hosts, which are checked using zabbix agents, as being down. But the hosts are up. Zabbix gives false reports about that. However, hosts, which are checked using fping, are NOT shown as being down. So, simple checks work well.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem...

In my environment the zabbix-server and the zabbix-database are installed on different servers.

In most cases it occurs while the backup runs on the server with the zabbix-database, but it also occurs if the mysql-server itself is busy.

Has anyone a solution for this problem?
