Running triggers on specific time

Is it possible to make triggers for simple check to run only on specific timing ?

e.g. i only want the ping trigger to run from Monday to Saturday, Monday to friday(24hrs), sat(8am - 7pm)..

Use time-related functions supported by trigger expressions.

Can i use the time related function for the items to run only at specific timing.

E.g. Template:icmpping where should i put the time function?

is this the correct way? {Template:icmpping in 1-5, 0800:1800

How should i write to only run items for checking at only specific time?
Is it doable?

If i put the statement as icmpping, in 1-6, 0800-1800, will give an error saying that not supported....(For item Ping).

Please help me.....
