Formal question regarding 1.3.5 and other things

Can we assume that database structure of 1.3.5 will not be changed and upgrade
to 1.4 will require just recompilation of binaries ?
I know it should not be used in production env. but I can not wait any longer.
My management wants me to take a closer look at OpenNMS and I hate Java
    ;-)

    And some maybe usefull idea:
As Zabbix is still kind of experimental code but many people already love it and use
in production env. it could be usefull to have a thread where we could share anything
that we found in system/zabbix logs that indicates problems and requires admin's attention.

There is nothing worse than dead monitoring system that shows you that 5 days ago
everything was OK and you think that it is todays status because web page is served even if zabbix server died ;-)
So running simple grep script from cron, searching for particular messages in logs
    would be usefull.
And so having a list of messages to grep for would be usefull too.

    Regards
    Peter

No, I wouldn't assume that! We are still working on improvements for auto-discovery and new escalations module.

Anyway I believe that there will be no major changes in the structure of database and the changes will be quite straight forward (new tables, columns).
