Trigger help please.

Hello!

I am a Zabbix-Newbie and have some questions to triggers.

1. What is the right trigger for simply "host down"? So i want to get an E-Mail if the Linux Server is down. What do i have to do now?

Maybe someone can help me with some screenshots from his zabbix, that would be great

I have tried the Help and the search function but didtn got the right answers.

status.last(0) i think is the function / items you're looking for. Check the 1.4 PDF doc, that might have some useful info.

You can also use nodata, and stuff regarding tick.

Too many options

For passive agents, you want status.last(0) and for active agents, you want nodata().
