    Zabbix basic help!!! Please advise

    Hello,

We have installed and configured Zabbix on the host and zabbix agent on the client servers and all are communicating fine. All looks good

    Now here comes the question.

We want to create some users and host informatons in the Zabbix. But, the user should see his own servers only, he shouldn't see other's servers. The user need to have login to the Zabbix to see his server status.

We have 10 clients and some of them own 3 servers. I created a zabbix user for one of my customers, added the host in Zabbix. Now, how can I limit access to that Zabbix user to see his own servers only? Please advise

Also, we need to send notifications to 2 email address if a server goes down. One to our email address and the other one to the customer. How can I configure it?

    Thank You.

The permissions aren't very flexible. Your best best is to write a script to setup permissions.

For the Email issue you can do the following:

Under Users there is the User Groups section. Create a group, e.g. "Cutomer1".

Add your customer's user as well as one of your companies users.

Then if you go to the Actions section, when you setup the action you can tell it to send notifications to the user group instead of a single user. Choose the "Customer1" group and any users you have added to that group will receive notifications about that server/trigger/action.
