Zabbix Agent 1.1.7 Installation

I've download the source from sourceforge and followed the documentation for zabbix agent installation.

However, in the manual, step 4, the intructions were as follows :-

Step 4
Build agent
shell> make
Copy created binaries from bin/ to /opt/zabbix/bin or any other directory.
Other common directories are /usr/local/bin or /usr/local/zabbix/bin.

Problem is I cannot find the binaries in the bin/ folder except for 2 files, which is as follows :-

/home/zabbix/zabbix-1.1.7/bin
[root@fc5-i3 bin]# ls -la

I am installing the zabbix agent on server running Fedora Core 5. FYI, the zabbix server is already installed on another machine and everything is fine on that server.

Can someone please provide me with a detailed instructions as to how to install and configure the zabbix agent on my server. Please provide instruction for using zabbix_agentd. Thanks.

I seem you search for src/zabbix_agent/zabbix_agentd

Copy it to the right place, take also a look to misc/init.d/redhat/8.0/zabbix_agentd for the Init script.
I am a noob user too and take a short look on a OpenBSD 4.1 OS
too look for a file use find
copy to a place you want it. create a user named zabbix and start the agentd with the needed parameters.
