1.1 to 1.3.7 upgrade how to?

guys

1) Existing live monitoring using zabbix server 1.1 agentd 1.1
2) Dummy monitoring zabbix 1.3.7 (currently working on)

Problem: I created a set of SIMILIAR hosts/items/triggers/actions as per zabbix 1.1 on my dummy server to try 1.3.7 out to check if all is OK before replacing zabbix 1.1.

Question: what is the "best fastest way" of upgrading my exisiting version of Zabbix 1.1 to 1.3.7 while at same time for eg, not lossing my current data from mysql database ?? i will of coz prefer NOT to redo hosts/items/triggers etc again on my live 1.3.7

for sure i will need to recomplile my zabbix 1.3.7 on my monitoring server and replace all 1.1 agentd with 1.3.7.

how do i export my new v1.3.7 mysql database to the live server (existing v1.1) ?

Hi, I'm currently testing my 1.3.7 right now as well. I've got it running on a VMWare virtual server. Personally, I would wait to upgrade your live clients and servers when the official release comes out (Zabbix v1.4).
