Getting terrible with Zabbix 1.4 on Kubuntu 7.04

Hello everbody,

i'm an new Linux-Fan, who isn't able to install Zabbix 1.4 correctly.

I've setting up an virtual Machine, with VMWare 6.0 and KUBUNTU 7.04.

Since yesterday morning, i'm sitting here to install Zabbix on Kubuntu, getting no sleep, reading several "How-To's" but all with the same summary: a none running Zabbix.

I must get this working for tomorrow.

I've read the How-To "Zabbix on Debian Edgy" here in the Zabbix-Forum, and serveral other TUT's on debianhelp.co.uk.


Can somebody help me to install Zabbix? I've delete the virtual Maschine, and using a clean and working Kubuntu 7.04

Please, help me.

Okay, here are 2 Screenshots of my Kubuntu 7.04 with Zabbix installed.

I can't log in and you'll see the several failures on the Webinterface. The second shot is from PHPMYADMIN conntected to the MySQL Service.

I don't know, what to do...

There's an include error on that screen shot -- a file is probably missing. It seems strange that it asks for a php file from /etc. Grepping for the name gives no results. Are you sure you finished the web installation?

Look at the footer, you're running 1.1.4, not 1.4!
