How to manage (create/delete) 'applications'

I know it can be done implicitly via the web configuration, i.e. when you create a new scenario one gets to specify the Application, but where else in the UI can create/delete these?

The reason i ask is im trying to associate some of my newly created items with applications and currently am having to create web scenarios just to get the application created and then im deleting the originating web scenario.

Guess im missing something?

30 minutes of looking and I couldnt find anything, post a question to the forum and then immediately find the answer! - you manage applications under the configuration->hosts screens. ps. i did check the manual but found no mention of this screen.
