    Zabbix interferring with Sybase Services

Has any one ever heard of zabbix agent in windows interfering with sybase unwired orchestrator, jaguar server or business services? Some folks here think that is the case. The Unwired is using port 1099 and should not be interfering with anything.

Or could the log[] function cause problems for the services writing to them.

    Thanks in advance!

ZABBIX uses only TCP ports 10050 and 10051. The ports are official ZABBIX ports and they should not interfere with any other services.

      Thanks Alexei.

      Here is why I ask:

We have a very big project going on using sybase and services. The one test machine, which I have had zabbix running for a couple of weeks, was not responding correctly. We started killing services (no one documented which one) and suddenly we were able to connect. Well, the finger get's pointed at the monitoring service because...well...why not.

So as I decided to ask the forums if anyone else has seen, heard, or had an inkling on this issue.

      Thank you for your response.
