Is there a way to get what is reported via item/trigger to be sent in a message?

Specifically, using web monitoring I get:

Failed on "Home Page" [1 of 1] Error: couldn't connect to server


Is there a way to get that in an action for email/sms/jabber?

There are a pile of macros for actions detailed in the manual.

Does

Value: {{HOSTNAME}:{TRIGGER.KEY}.last(0)}

not do what you want?

No, that returns the numeral "1".

What I would like to see is the actual text that is shown in the status.

e.g.; Failed on "Home Page" [1 of 1] Error: couldn't connect to server

I am sort of looking for the same thing.

I want to be sent an email with Windows Event information that caused the trigger.

I am searching and searching but no luck so far. Did you ever get to the bottom of it?
