innoDB or myIsam Does zabbix use transactions?

Does zabbix use transactions in it's sql statements?

AFAIK myIsam performs better then innoDB and doesn't use these ridiculous amounts of disk space.

    Can anyone comment?

    Cheers,

I'm no DB expert, but I have managed to massage MySQL to play nice with Zabbix.

I don't think DB performance has ever been talked about in great detail. I would love to see something.
