sender and get explanation

Guys, I come from the Nagios environment.

I understand what the Z.server and Z.agent do... What is the purpose for the Z.Sender and Z.Get functions? Are these used in custom scripts that you write?

Briefly:

ZABBIX sender can be used for sending information to ZABBIX server from a script, command line, whatever.

ZABBIX get is a command line utility which is normally used for testing of agent availability and retrieval of data from ZABBIX agents.
