I use a simple ping check for some network devices using the following trigger
{Template-HM-PingOnly:icmpping.max(300)}<1
The issue is that unde configuration hosts the availbility always shows unknown instead of on or off, is there a way with a simple ping check to make it report the availibility correctly ?
The hosts where I have an agent it works fine but I also need this for simple ping checks.
