Configuration Exchange between Nodes.

Gents,
Pleas help me understand how distributed setup should work with zabbix. After reading the documentation provided, I have setup 2 nodes... and do see some information flowing between them, however, I do not see node configurations being exchanged.

On the master node interface:
I go to overview, switch node to child... I do not see any hosts that are configured on the child node.

In the logs, I dont see any data being passed back from child to master regarding any new hosts.

Also, when I try to add a host for the child node via the interface on the master node, that configuration never gets there...

same problem here

I have the same problem. I followed the instructions to set up master and child node.

Node 1 has stuff like this in the logs:
1239:20070810:181223 NODE 1: Received history from node 2 for node 2 datalen 922

Node 2 has:
385:20070810:182652 NODE 2: Sending new history of node 2 to node 1 datalen 1799

But I never see what the manual tells me I should see:
11656:20061129:171614 NODE 2: Sending data of node 2 to node 1 datalen 3522738

And I cannot see any configuration data from node 2 in node 1 and vice versa.
