log[/foo/bar/local0.log] not working

Hey

I am trying to monitor my syslog file on a BSD server, but it does not fetch any data, if I check the queue it tells me next check is 1970 so I guess thats why, is this a known problem?

I have it as a zabbix agent active item.

ANy reason this should not work with 1.4.1?

Solved

solved this one, for active checks one cannot use localhost as the string in the agent config file it has to be the real hostname.
