Update trigger expression without loosing custom dependencies

    Hello

I have a template called "_a_ping" which has an item called "n_icmp-ping" and a trigger called "{HOSTNAME} N: Ping is not returned". All my host has this template assigned. For every host, I specify the dependencies using the trigger "{HOSTNAME} N: Ping is not returned" of this template. This works fine so far.

But when I change the expression of the trigger, all dependecies for this trigger on the hosts are gone. It seems that ZABBIX applies all fields again. And because there is no dependencies defined in the template, they are removed from the individual hosts.

    My question is:
How can I change the trigger expression of the template without loosing the dependecies ? If I have to reapply the dependecies, I need about 2 hours.

    Thanks in advance.

    Andreas

PS: This post is similar to some I did made before. I think, ZABBIX should respect all values if not changed explicilty.
