Avarage Traffic in Graphs

Is it possible to show the avarage traffic of the period zabbix is currently showing in the Graphs? If not, is there any other way to show the avarage traffic of a period of time in zabbix?

ZABBIX shows everything (min,max and avg) in the graphs. Select weekly or monthly view to see how it looks like.

I'm not shure if i made it clear what i want. I want an overall Traffic average for the period of time i'm currently watching. I need this for Traffic accounting.
Basically if this is not possible i need to write a script which summates all the Values for e.g. a Month an then divides this through the amount of Values.
While this would be not too hard a graphical solution in Zabbix would be nice.

This is a very important feature for us , i cannot emphasize how important this is.
We definitive need such a feature for Traffic accounting. Are there any plans for integrating such feature in future releases? Currently we use cacti (rrdtool) for accounting but this is not the setup we want in the future. I Cannot belive that I am the only one who needs this feature.
Alexei please integrate this feature in the next release.

Alexei, I'm not seeing where the graphs list an average number. At the bottom the only numbers listed are for min, max, and last.

There is [avg] listed be this is just describing the function used for the graph.

I too would really like to see the average over the graph period.

Yes, putting the average value in the graphs is essential for me as well. At least in 1.4.1, it does not appear. What does appear is min, max, and last.

I spent 5mins looking at the graphing code and just posted up this patch. It seems to give me sensible results.

Good job. I was looking for this functionality too.
I think that's, what zabbix should have in future releases. It's nice to have avg representation in text, than measure it by eye.
