    Source Code Windows Agent

    Where can i get the Source Code for the Windows Agent?
    What do i need to compile it?

    The source is included in the server tarball. Search the forums for what you need to use for compilation (this was disscussed at length in the last 6 months or so).

      Ok, i found the thread.
      It seems to me that i must have the MS VS environment to compile the agent.
      I don't have it. So it is not possible for me to compile the agent.

      What a shame. It would be nice because i was looking for a solution for the problem with the wrong swap size values for my Windows-Machines.

        I started a port to MingW but gave up for now.
        It might be OK for 32-bit Windows - I have the M$ development environment
        installed, so that's no real added value for me.
        But it seems to be not yet ready for 64-bit Windows applications
        with, say, the pdh.dll (Performance counters).

        If someone else takes the task, I - and some others like you - will be happy.

        I don't really know what is required to compile the 64-bit WIndows agent.
        VS 6.0 does not know about it.

          There are free c/c++ compilers for windows (including from MS)



          In my quick 30 second look I didn't see any that would do 64bit but they may be out there.
