Hello,

I am fairly new to zabbix, but the forums have been helpful so far. I have a zabbix server set up, currently monitoring 3 servers, using the windows template with event log monitoring added to it. when i installed the 1.4.2 agent on the machines becouse of a repeating error in the 1.4.1 logs my monitoring > overview page changed.



when i first set up monitoring i didnt have any of those icmp and ip fields there. as far as i can tell they only appeared after installing 1.4.2 agent.

I have verified that the only template assigned to the servers is the windows server template. I have also checked the template and nothing seems out of the ordinary in it, accept that i do not see anywhere for these extra fields to be coming from.

Anyone know how i can get rid of them?

nvm, found what i was looking for. apparently while messing around with applying templates i had set snmpv1. when i removed it, for some reason the items from it were not removed from the server. the server still says it only has the windows template, but when i look at the items specific to the server it had all the snmp checks in it.
