    monitoring Windows terminal server

    Hi
How can i find out how may active sessions, inactive session, and disconnected sessions , are on a given server ?

I would like to combine this with applications stats from proc_info and ms sql server data
to build a profile for spec ing servers ..

These are all performance counters under the object "Terminal Services"

You can add them to zabbix as perf_counter in 1.4 or in the config files in 1.1.

assuming you are running Zabbix 1.4

create three new items with the following
        type: Zabbix Agent
        Type of Information: Numeric(Integer 64bit)

        The three Keys will be:
        perf_counter[\Terminal Services\Active Sessions]
        perf_counter[\Terminal Services\Inactive Sessions]
        perf_counter[\Terminal Services\Total Sessions]

I set mine to check every 120 seconds (2 minutes) as my users tend to connect for long periods of time so its not necessary to check more frequntly than that.
