What are additional lines and areas in graphs of period?.

When you click on a numeric item you can see a graph of item in a selected period.
Main line is drawed in green color, but I don't know what are the meaning of ligth green and pink lines and yellow areas.

I have looking for them in manual but I havend found it.

Anybody knows the meaning of this lines?.

I am wondering the same thing as well - it appears on graphs of a longer period - i.e. 1 week, but the yellow area is not shown on the same type of graph, for the last 1 hour data.

The yellow area indicates that the the maximum and minimum values have peaked and valleyed within that yellow range, but because you are looking at more than an hours worth of time, it would just look like a big green blob if they tried to show the peaks and valleys.

If you select a smaller time period where you can actually see the peaks and valleys, then the yellow range goes away.

I think the green line in the yellow background is just showing you the average.

Thanks tchjts1 for the reply. I can now guess what those yellow areas means.

Of course at only one single time, there can't be a "Maximum value" and "minimum value" at the same time.

However, if a "slice" of the graph represents a period of time , i.e. an hour, then yes indeed there would be a "Maximum value" and "minimum value" for this particular hour.

          Thank's you

I suggests to add this explanation to user's manual.

Actually, I think this is a better explanation:

"Regardless of your value for history, the frontend by default pulls values from the trends table for time periods > 24hrs."

            From here: http://www.zabbix.com/forum/archive/...hp/t-1595.html

Disclaimer: All of the above is pure speculation.
