I am interested in testing out Zabbix. I have read through the documentation and most of the forums - at least browsing - and I am happy with how it sounds. My question is, how does it look?

The screenshots on the main page are from a previous version. What does the new version look like?

I know you are probably wondering why I'm not just installing Zabbix to see what it looks like. The answer is - its not my server to test with. I have to provide a valid reason to use it - and trust me when I say management is easier persuaded with pretty pictures than fancy words.

If someone could post some pictures of the current Zabbix Interface, I would be very grateful.

Quite honestly, it would be good for you to actually play around with the software first. Grab VMWare server (its free), install Debian/CentOS/Whatever, set up Zabbix and have it monitor itself. The data won't be of much use but it will still be good enough to get a feel of the software and you can take all the screeshots you want.

It works well for me. Plus, with VMware save state snapshots you can mess it all up and then restore back to working state. Its great stuff for experimenting with. Have fun!

An easier way is to do a google search for "Overview [refreshed every 30 sec]" there are several Zabbix server published to the web.

That is very helpful. I tried google searches but this particular search term I never thought of. Thanks.
