Web monitoring

Hi,

I'm trying to get a test web monitoring scenario working, but i'm a bit stumped. Are there any detailed instructions available for doing this? The manual is a bit....vague on this point.

Basically I'm stumped about what variables should be details, and what HTTP arguments I should be using. How do i find this out ?

Any suggestions? Somone muuuussstttt have some experience of getting the web monitoring working or have a better source of information about it than the shocking manual.
