online or offline

Does anyone know which tables in the database contain the information on the devices. Particularly whether the device is online or offline?
I am customizing a page and need to write a sql statement that can look at whether a device is up or down.
Any takers!?

It would be nice if you posted the solution, the forum is a kinda knowledge database.

The table mappings contains the values that indicate device status.
This table in turn is linked to the hosts table (the status column)

So select * from hosts where status = 0
will indicate which devices are up.
