Graph with an item from all hosts in a template

Hello. Anyone know of a way to crate a graph that gets updated automatically when a new host is added to a template? It's a real pain to have to update 20 different graphs every time I add a web server to the cluster. Thanks for any advice.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do. Are you trying to have the same graph for each host, or instance, CPU and Network load? If that is the case create the graph and link it to the template you link to each host.

If you're trying to create one graph with multiple items from multiple hosts, there is no way as of yet to add automagically add new hosts/items to that graph.

    Hope this helps.

Yes, I want to have a graph with multiple items that gets updated automatically when a new host is added to the associated template. At this point, it's looking like a script that runs via cron or something is probably the easiest way. Any other thoughts?

      Thanks.

        Create Graph by Template

        Hi,

i have a similar issue. I need the same graph for each host in a template or group e.g. a graph that displays the free disk space in /var and / and /opt.

I don't want/like to create the same graph for each single host but just a single graph and have it ready for all hosts. Is it possible somehow ?
I tried to create a graph for a template and it is possible but nothing is shown in the graph .

If you just want a graph for each single host (ie. not one graph with all hosts in it) then you can just add the graph to the template that the hosts are in. You will of course have to add an item to the graph. Then you will see the same graph for each host in that template. The problem I am having is I need one graph with a certain item for many hosts in it and I need it to update automatically when a host is added to the template.

I would love to see this too.

For example: If I have a graph 'uptime of all server', and I add 5 new server then I'd like to see them _without_ any further work on the graph itself in the graph.

            would be pretty helpful
