    graph question again

    Hi again,

This question is for pure asthetics on graphs. I'd like to have a constant value always over-layed and then the value I'm monitoring. This for two reasons.

    One:
to have a visual line limit so whenever the values go over that point it's easy to recognize. This way when someone other than myself looks at it they understand the threshold.

    Two:
To have visual fill line to show current compared to its max. I can do this now but the max value doesn't change so only needs to be pulled once in a blue moon. Otherwise the values have to pulled similar which I don't want to generate that much item grabbing for something that doesn't change.
I've attached my example from an HP printer.

If you have a trigger associated with the items in the graph the trigger will show up in the graph. So if you have a trigger set at say 10% you would see it show up as a red dashed line. This only works with simple triggers. If there are multiple conditions to the trigger statement it won't show up.

You could query the max value at a lower frequency, however you'll then see large blocks of missing data until it get's queried again. It's a feature, that way Zabbix does not graph data that does not exist and extrapolate incorrectly.
